Axial Alignment Software

Do you require frequent axial alignments of your load frames? Great Lakes Calibration has developed a low cost, high accuracy, easy to use alignment system that will meet all the needs of ASTM E1012 and NASM 1312. The electronics allow for up to 12 strain gages to be used with configurations for rounds, flats, and thin flats. Alignment specimens with either 2 plains or 3 plains of strain gages can be used. The electronics have built in shunt resistors for easy calibration of the electronics and alignment specimen as a system. This unique calibration process removes errors caused slight differences in resistance of the strain gages on the alignment specimen and increases the overall accuracy of the system. Stress and Creep rupture frame retrofits

Bring your old stress and creep rupture frames into the 21st century with our new CSR+ retrofit system. Great Lakes can retrofit your stress rupture frame with a state-of-the-art touchscreen controller. Our CSR+ system can display and log temperature data from 3 thermocouples, display and log strain data from 2 digital extensometers, and can be configured for automated control of the load frame. The CSR+ system can be programmed to ramp the furnace and soak for a designated amount of time before applying load on the sample. The CSR+ can be programmed to automatically apply step loads when a load cell is installed. High accuracy Heidenhain linear gauges are utilized for reliable and stable strain measurements during creep testing. CSR+ controllers can be networked so that you can view live data, test status, and even control any of the CSR+ controllers from a single desktop computer.
